We have contributed $728,300 to local community charities since 2012. Because we are entirely volunteer run with no paid staff and administrative costs under 1% of gross income, nearly every dollar you give reaches a family in North Texas. Good to know
Is my donation tax deductible?
Yes. Community of Caring Hearts Charity is a registered 501(c)(3) organization and gifts are deductible to the full extent allowed by law. Zeffy emails your receipt automatically as soon as the gift is processed.
What is the tip Zeffy asks for?
Zeffy is free for nonprofits and funds itself with an optional tip that donors are asked for at checkout. It is entirely your choice, you can adjust it or set it to zero, and either way the full amount you intended for us still reaches us.
How much of my gift reaches a family?
Zeffy takes nothing, and we are all volunteer with no paid staff. Administrative costs run under 1% of gross income, and our goal is to distribute 100% of the net proceeds from each event we host.
Can I give monthly?
Yes. Choose the recurring option on the Zeffy donation page and it will handle the rest. You can change or cancel any time from the link in your receipt email.
Can I mail a check instead?
